How it is made
One moment per player. Not a career, not a highlight reel, one frame pushed until it says more than the photograph did.
The skin is never skin-coloured: cobalt, purple, signal red, ochre. Flat blocks, frayed edges, no gradients, chalk on coarse paper. Every sheet keeps to three colours and breaks every one of them somewhere. The lettering is painted into the picture, not typed on top of it.
It starts in a sketchbook and gets finished sheet by sheet until the grain sits right. Then it goes to press at 300 dpi on heavy semi-glossy stock, so the flat colour blocks keep their punch instead of sinking into the paper.
